  A Great  Singer Manna Dey                                      Manna Dey whose earliar name was Probodh Chandra Dey. He was born on 1 st may in 1919 in Kolkata. He was the child of Purna Chandra Dey and Mahamaya Dey. Manna Dey studied at Scotish Church Collegiiate School and then Vidyasagar College.                              As a singer joint a singing compitation at college function at the age of 18. At that moment his life started taking lesson from his uncle Krishna Chandra Dey. In 1942, He  left for Mumbai as the assist with his uncle. In 1943 as a singer, He sang a song in hindi film of Tammanna and also he sang a song in bengali film of Grihaprabesh in 1954.
